Wonderworks Children’s Museum of the Gorge has been entertaining families for over 30 years. Currently we are renovating our new home at 206 Madison Street and as we go about it we have set up an indoor mini-putt golf couorse as a way to raise funds and to offer safe, warm and affordable fun during the colder winter months. The course is located at 206 Madison Street, downtown The Dalles, next door to Taco del Mar and is open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12 – 4 pm. Tickets are $5.00 for 18+, $4.00 for ages 3-18 years/seniors, and two and under FREE. We are a yarn shop providing knitting, crocheting, and spinning supplies and classes for everyone. We are very happy to stock the Mirasol Collection, a free trade product from Peru; yarns from Elsebeth Lavold, Louisa Harding, Queensland Collection, The Alpaca Yarn Company, Bergere de France, Jojoland, Schoeller Stahl, Hemp for Knitting, Trekking, and Schulana to name a few. Our needles are Addi Turbo and Addi Lace Points, in circulars and we also have straight needles and double points, along with a good variety of fiber arts accoutrements. Jeanne Carver of the Imperial Stock Ranch will be at the shop on the 13th of March for a trunk
show. She will be bringing garments made from the yarn and will be presenting information about the
ranch, its past, present and future. There will be a drawing for one the knitting kits from the
Imperial Yarn line at the end of the day.
